The Cork County Colts clinched the clubs’ first-ever Cricket Leinster title at youth level when they were confirmed as Leinster Boys Colts B League winners following a run of 4 wins out of 5 in their league campaign.
The legendary Railway Union opener Kenny Carroll along with Leinster Youth Secretary Aoife O’Brien were on hand to present captain Eshan O’Sullivan with the trophy in what was a historic moment for the club.
At a specially organised presentation ceremony organised by the Youth Committee, the players were presented with their medals in the company of parents and coaches. It was great to have parents, coaches and the President in attendance to enjoy the event and acknowledge the effort from all to ensure the campaign ran smoothly and the players performed at their best.
It was a terrific effort from all involved with all fixtures away from home demanding a huge commitment from players, parents & coaches. Plenty of hard work went into the preparation and players certainly relished the challenge.
