Cork County run youth cricket coaching sessions throughout the winter and summer months at the Mardyke in the heart of Cork City. The Cork County Cricket Academy is run by ECB Level 2 coaches Ross Durity and Andy Wootton in conjunction with numerous club members, parents and volunteers. Ross is a highly experienced cricketer at club, provincial and youth international level and has been involved in coaching the 1st team and youth squads for a number of years. He excels in the technical aspect of the game with a particular expertise in batting and fielding. Andy also has buckets of experience from years of playing the game in the UK and Ireland, and following his retirement in 2016 he has turned his attention to helping the next generation of bowlers and Cork County Cubs cricketers.
Winter Coaching (September – April)
Winter indoor coaching sessions take place on Saturdays at the Presentation Brothers College gym on the Mardyke in Cork. These sessions and are open to aspiring youth cricketers of all levels and abilities at the following times:

Summer Coaching (April – September)
Coaching sessions are open to aspiring cricketers of all levels and abilities in Cork and each will last for approximately 2 hours. Youth training sessions take place every Friday at 6 p.m. and last for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours per session under the supervision of our team of experienced cricket coaches.
Matches will be arranged throughout the season with notifications posted on the Cork County Youths page on Teamer.net.
