Cork County Cricket Club wish to extend a warm welcome to all-rounder Anthony O’Reilly following his decision to join us from neighbours Cork Harlequins ahead of the 2014 season. Anthony, otherwise known as Anto, will be a welcome addition to Ross Durity’s Cork County squad who will once again be competing in both Munster and Leinster competitions as well as the Irish Senior Cup during the coming season. The all-rounder bowls at a fast-medium pace with the ability to provide some big hitting power in the lower order and is considered one of the top fielders in the Munster game.
Cork County Club Captain, Ross Durity, greeted the news by stating that “Anthony is an exciting prospect who’s talent will be allowed to full flourish down at the Mardyke with the assistance of Senior players such as Morne Bauer, Abubakar Saddique, Andy Wootton, Robert Duggan and myself will no doubt improve his ability”
