Durity and Grobler smash records against Midleton

Club Captain, Ross Durity, and overseas professional, Stephan Grobler, put on 331 for the first wicket as Cork County recorded a comprehensive Munster Division 1 victory over Midleton Cricket Club at the Mardyke on Sunday, 25th May. Durity finished on 175 not out while Grobler was bowled for 144 having amassed 331 from 47 overs.

Durity: 175* runs from 137 balls (13 x 4’s , 5 x 6’s)
Grobler: 144 runs from 110 balls (14 x 4’s , 3 x 6’s)

Munster Division 1:

Cork County 367-1 (Durity 175*, Grobler 144) defeated Midleton Cricket Club 125 all out (Cotter 3-24, Van Heerden 2-15) by 242 runs at the Mardyke.
