Commemoration for Ann O’Connell

There will be a special gathering in commemoration of Ann O’Connell on Saturday, 26th January, which will take place in the Pavilion on the Mardyke.

The gathering will commence at around 1 p.m. and will probably continue until around 4 p.m. with all members and friends welcome to attend to honour her memory. Light refreshments are being provided by the club courtesy of Cafe Velo, many thanks to John Power for arranging this.

Ann’s daughters, Ciara and Orla, will be on hand to present a photo of Ann which will be framed placed in the club in her memory.

Ann will also be remembered at the 10.30 a.m. Mass in Military Hill Church next Sunday, 27th January.

    Very fond memories of Ann I have who was very good to me when and after my mother died and I know that they are now once again laughing and joking with each other..RIP Ann.
