Cork County are delighted to be taking part in this years Cork St Patricks Festival with members of our Youth section accompanied by parents and adult members representing the club. #CorkGoesGreen
It’s a great opportunity to give the game of cricket a little exposure to the anticipated 50,000 visitors to the city on Saturday. Over 3,000 participants expected to take part tomorrow and it all begins at 1 p.m. so keep an eye out! The parade starts on the South Mall and moves up to the Grand Parade, along St. Patrick’s Street and finishes at Merchant’s Quay – just in time for the England v Ireland rugby match!

RedFM’s Big Red Bench look ahead to the upcoming 2017 season which sees Cork County return to Leinster Division 1 after clinching promotion and the Division 2 title in dramatic style last season.
Ruairi O’Hagan chatted to Andy Wootton and Robert Duggan to get their thoughts on preparations and what to expect during the early stages of the new season. With a tough opening fixture away to fellow promoted side Leinster CC at Rathmines on Saturday, 22nd April, followed by an eagerly anticipated first home fixture against Champions Clontarf on Saturday, 29th April, it promises to be an exciting start to the season. #WeAreCounty
