The season saw the 2nd XI complete a remarkable 3 in a row of @munstercricket Division 1 league titles under the captaincy of Robert Duggan finishing with 10 wins from 11 games. They also clinched the T20 Cup title in an unbeaten campaign through both the group stages and Finals Day!

A fabulous afternoon of cricket as we hosted @romany_cc at the Mardyke for an end of season friendly encounter as part of our 150th celebration. A 58 run win was a fine way to sign off the 2024 season but a huge thanks to Romany for travelling. 🤝 🏏

The Romany Cricket Club, whose motto is the self evident ‘ambulando’ was founded in 1929 and has played regular friendly fixtures across the UK and several continents on regular tours since 1958.

The Mardyke played host to an exhibition game in Sunday involving the 4th XI squad and members of their counterparts from @quinscc in what turned out to be an enjoyable encounter.

Credit to the skipper Talha Mannan for organising the game with plenty of young cricketing talent on show. 🏏

Mark Andrianatos' time with us has come to an end for the 2024 season as he begins his journey back home to South Africa. 🇿🇦

A true professional and a gentleman, Mark's impact extended far beyond the first XI. From coaching young players to driving standards in our adult teams, his dedication and passion have been invaluable. 🏏

Some vital contributions with bat, ball and in the field have helped drive the club and the Reds to success on the field. That trademark high elow and infectious energy will leave a lasting legacy for all those who saw him in action! 😄
