Squash Courts in Cork City
Squash has been played at the Richard Beamish Grounds at the Mardyke for almost 40 years with our two courts originally opened in the early 1980s. Since then, we have welcomed thousands of players through our doors and squash has become part of the everyday fabric of the facilities at Cork County Cricket Club, so much so that many cricket members have taken up squash as their primary off-season hobby!
We have enjoyed a lasting association with UCC Squash Club, amongst others, and welcome members from both Cork and the wider Munster region. The club has also enjoyed partnerships with a number of large organisations and businesses from around the city and its surroundings including Apple and EMC among others.
The courts had previously been refurbished in the mid-90s and were officially reopened on the 19th April 1995 by the Lord Mayor of Cork Councillor Tim Falvey.
We are an associate member of the Munster Squash Association and look forward to hosting tournaments in the future.
Our two courts have been meticulously refurbished in the past few months and along with the recent refurbishment of our spacious changing room facilities are now fully open to both our existing members and anybody with an interest in joining. Membership of the club entitles you to use the squash facilities, the club bar and the pavilion for hosting functions.
