2018 Annual Awards Dinner

With the 2018 season coming to a close, it’s that time of the year again when we prepare to look back on a busy few months and celebrate the efforts of players, supporters and volunteers at all levels in the club.

The Annual Awards Dinner will take place with our sponsors at the The River Lee Hotel on the Western Road with tickets costing €35 per person. Your ticket will include a full 3-course meal and drinks reception (with a Halal option also available).

2018 has proved to be a challenging season once again but there has been plenty of positives and individual performance of note on and off the field throughout the season.

Further details regarding the night be announced in due course.

2015 Annual Club Dinner & Awards Night

The Annual Club Dinner takes place at the Mardyke Pavilion on Friday, 6th November, starting at 8 p.m. 2015 proved to be another successful one for the Cork County with the club competing strongly at all levels in Munster and Leinster competitions.

The Senior side led by Stephan Grobler completed a Munster Division 1 and Senior Cup double while also picking up the inaugural Senior T20 crown. There was disappointment with relegation from Leinster 1 but a strong performance in the Leinster Senior Cup saw them knocked out at the Semi-Final stage.

The 2nd XI also had a strong showing in Division 2 despite the strain put on the squad due to the extensive demands of the 1st XI on all fronts. Scot Jeffers led his side to the Junior Cup Finals where they narrowly lost out to Co. Kerry.

The Minor team under the stewardship of Abdul Jabbar Younus swept all in front of them clinching the Division 3 title with almost a month of the season still to play. The league and cup double was clinched following a dramatic Minor Cup Final victory over Tipperary County.

Menu will include a Halal/Vegetarian option.

Annual Club Dinner – Friday, 9th November

Following the success of last year’s event, Cork County Cricket Club are pleased to announce that the Annual Club Dinner will be held in the Club Pavilion on Friday, 9th November, starting at 8.00 p.m. sharp. Tickets for the event will once again cost €20 per person.

Tickets will be limited to a total of 60 and will be allocated on a first come/first served basis so contact us as soon as possible to reserve your seat!!!

The Annual Awards will also be handed out on the night from Senior right through to Minor levels. The main awards on the night will once again be the Senior Batsman, Bowler and Club Player of the Year in recognition of performances throughout the season. You can also view the Annual Club Dinner event on our Facebook page and vote for who you think should get these awards.

We once again look forward to a successful evening as we put the 2012 season to bed and hope to see a good turnout from our members.
