Give It A Bash – 8th May

Cork County Cricket Club are pleased to announce the return of ‘Give It A Bash’ on Sunday, 8th May 2022, which provides a great way for youngsters who want to try the game of cricket and learn some of the basics of the game.

Some of the activities will include:

  • Batting, bowling and catching skills
  • Supervised by fully qualified coaches
  • Fun games and competitions 
  • Meet new friends!

It will also be an opportunity for youngsters and parents alike to learn more about the club and find out how to get more involved.

The session is absolutely FREE and open to boys and girls (both members and non-members) aged 8-16 to come along and give cricket a bash!

Give It A Bash For Girls – 30th May

Tuesday, May 25th, 2021

Cork County Cricket Club is offering a “Give it a Bash” session for Girls from 7 – 16yrs who have never played the game before. The session is open to non-members and will be run by our club coaches, in groups according to age.

In line with the ongoing Covid-19 guidelines, all attendees must register in advance to attend this event via the link below:

Girls will have a chance to learn some of the basics of cricket including batting, bowling, fielding and wicket keeping as well as play some cricket!

We would ask all attendees to complete our ‘Covid Self Assessment Form‘ when they book and join the club for the day – the cost of this is €1 and we will ask you to sign a form on arrival. We will have a Covid-19 Officer on-site and we follow all government and Cricket Ireland guidelines.

Please arrive 15 mins before the session and note that the Pedestrian gate is closed – use the gate beside the Tennis club.

  • Each child should have a separate submission!
  • You also need to complete the ‘Covid Self Assessment Form‘ health questionnaire.
