The ICU have announced that two one-day U-17 international fixtures between Ireland and Scotland in the European Challenge Series will take place at the Mardyke in August. The two 50 Over matches will take place in Cork on the 10th and 11th of August and will be followed by a Twenty20 fixture at Farmers Cross on the 12th. These fixtures will be the Mardyke’s first taste of competitive international cricket at any level since Ireland took on the MCC in 2002, a fixture in which Niall O’Brien scored his maiden century for Ireland
U-17 European Challenge Series 2011:
10 August: Ireland v Scotland, Mardyke.
11 August: Ireland v Scotland, Mardyke.
12 August: Ireland v Scotland (T20), Farmers Cross
