The popular weekly podcast show The Slog Sweep will be recording an exclusive visual podcast live at the Mardyke on Friday, 11th March, as part of their T20 World Cup roadshow.
The podcast will form part of a series of special outside broadcasts to coincide with Ireland participating in both the Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cup in India. The Slog Sweep crew will have a number of special guests & prizes on offer throughout the show with plenty of audience participation expected so hopefully we’ll see plenty of Cork County membership in attendance.
The show will see special guest and former Irish international stalwart John Mooney give his thoughts on Ireland’s progress in the tournament and look back on his own illustrious career in the green jersey. There might be another surprise guest or two so stay tuned!

The event also coincides with the popular annual fundraiser Yorkshire Night so the night would not be complete without Andy’s famous quiz with a round dedicated to all things Yorkshire with some fantastic raffle prizes on offer!!
For those who fancy a nibble during the show then there will be some traditional Roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding plus a ‘Yorkshire cocktail’ or a soft drink on offer for €10.
As with all Club fundraisers, the support of ALL members is vital to their success with all proceeds will be going towards funding the on-field activities for all Cork County sides for the coming season.
