Give It A Bash – 8th May

Cork County Cricket Club are pleased to announce the return of ‘Give It A Bash’ on Sunday, 8th May 2022, which provides a great way for youngsters who want to try the game of cricket and learn some of the basics of the game.

Some of the activities will include:

  • Batting, bowling and catching skills
  • Supervised by fully qualified coaches
  • Fun games and competitions 
  • Meet new friends!

It will also be an opportunity for youngsters and parents alike to learn more about the club and find out how to get more involved.

The session is absolutely FREE and open to boys and girls (both members and non-members) aged 8-16 to come along and give cricket a bash!

Private Cricket Coaching Sessions

Private Cricket Coaching in CorkCork County’s overseas professional, Stephan Grobler, is available for private cricket coaching whether they be for groups or one-on-one sessions. Stephan has vast experience in the game having played First Class cricket in South Africa and also playing high standard cricket in New Zealand and the UK. Stephan possesses a South African Cricket Association Level 2 Coaching badge.

U-11 Training cancelled on Tuesday, 16th July

Training for U-11’s will be cancelled on Tuesday, 16th July, due to the U-17 International fixture between Ireland & The Netherlands. Training will resume as normal next Tuesday at 4 p.m. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. #CCCC

Youth Cricket Coaching at the Mardyke

Cork County Cricket Club crestYouth cricket coaching will commence in full on Tuesday, 2nd July, at 4.00 p.m. at the Mardyke in Cork. The Cork County Cricket Academy will be run by, ECB Level 2 Coach and former Club Captain, Ross Durity. Ross is a highly experienced cricketer at both provincial and international level and has been involved in coaching the 1st team squad for a number of years. The sessions are open to cork cricketers of all levels and abilities and each one will last for approximately 2 hours. The schedule for youth cricket coaching in Cork is as follows:
